This is the cutest little place!!! They have a nice variety of options. My daughter got the Smashburger which was delicious, my son got the hamburger poboy that he said was great, I got the creole bbq shrimp poboy and we got the debris fries to share. They accommodated my dietary requests without a problem. The girl working front counter was super sweet and helpful. I definitely recommend - we will be back!
Cozy restaurant amongst the antique shops. Walk up counter order service. Good menu full of choices. Our choices this trip were the smash burgers, they were great. Perfectly cooked burgers, dressed with fresh veggies and cooked to order French fries.
This place has amazing smash burgers. You can tell they are home made! I didn't snag a photo but it was a beautiful, juicy burger! The debris fries (includes roast beef, gravy, cheese) were great also, but definitely get a small unless you are sharing it with a few people. Service was great, and the workers were very attentive and brought out food that they forgot to give us with no questions asked! I will definitely be coming back here for my burger fix!
Double smash burger was amazing! Best burger that I've had in decades! My wife had a ham and cheese poboy, she said it was great. The girl at the register was also really nice. I'm gonna lose sleep thinking about that burger...
Has been good every time I have gone. Hands down best roast beef poboy in the area. The burgers are good too. They can take a little time sometimes, but it's worth it. But again, the roast beef poboy is real beef, cooked and seasoned well, and makes the bread soggy, which is a must-have for a rb poboy. Reminds me of an old joint we went to for these when I was a kid. If you're in town, give it a shot. Poboy is loaded like it should be. Burgers are big enough too. Why eat at 5 guys?
As a person with a disability, I was disappointed that this restaurant did not have easy access at the entrance. I use a wheelchair and there was no ramp at the entrance. Fortunately I am able to stand but I required two able bodied adults to help me up and over their threshold and then my husband managed to get my wheelchair into the restaurant. Their restroom was up 3 stairs so it was completely unusable for me. The food was delicious but because of the ADA noncompliance, I will not try to eat at this restaurant again. I will have to send my husband for pickup orders, if I wish to eat another meal from Toula Burgers. Sincerely, Ellen P
Very good place! The two folks with me enjoyed their smash burgers and said it would be their new burger joint I had a smoked sausage, but with the Cajun dog fixings. It was pretty good. The sausage was nice and marked by the flat top, but it wasn't very hot as in temperature. I feel like it needed a few condiments for it to really kick it up a notch, but that falls on me for not adding any! Some times you just gotta try it how it is on the menu first - as chef intended Very friendly staff. You order first then sit and they bring it to you. She was very helpful and answered all of our questions we had. I will say it was very loud in there, so if you're sensitive to noise this may not be for you. It wasn't super busy - maybe 3-4 other families eating, but just between the conversations and music it made it a bit hard for us. I would like to come back and try a burger next!
Outstanding Burger! I got the double smash burger. Everything was fresh and the patties were seared perfection. The bun was amazing. I believe a good bun will take a burger up notch, and this bun certainly does!
GLUTEN FREE REVIEW I highly recommend Toula Burger as a person with celiac! They have a "keto" burger that they lettuce wrap and you can put the toppings you desire. The burger had a crisp to it, but I loved that. I checked with the owner on the seasonings used & they were all gf. She did tell me not to let her secrets out, so just know the seasoning is safe Fries are fried in their own oil & they were really good!!! A celiacs favorite thing to hear! The same seasoning from the burgers is used on fries. If you have a seafood allergy, their seafood and other battered meats are fried separately as well. The owner said she spoke with a friend who has allergies and took any and all cross contamination precautions that she could! (THANK YOU!)
First time trying Toula burger and it already has become one of my favorites. Came in 30 minutes before closing and the staff was very welcoming and friendly and the space has a bit of a charm with the paintings and signage. I ordered a double burger with cheese and sweet potato fries and was very impressed with the quality of the food and the serving size. The burger itself was made to perfection, cooked just right to capture all the savory goodness and not greasy like some of the other burgers I've tried in the area. The sweet potato fries were served in generous portion and were well worth the $2 up charge. Next time you are craving a good burger, do yourself a favor and skip the fast food or major burger chains and give Toula burger a try, you will not be disappointed! I will for sure come back to try more items on the menu!
